Waller House Inn - Reviews

August 2009
I stayed here while working on a project at Camp Ripley, and Raquel and Scott made me feel at home. Being in the military, I have been a lot of places. It is one of those few places where I told my wife we have to go together.
Raquel even made me a couple of jars of homemade bluberry jam to take with me. I am now on foreign soil once again but I appreciate that small taste of home she sent with me. They provided me more than just a place to sleep, and some very good food. They provided me care away from home. It doesn't get much better than that.

This is the place to stay when you are anywhere near Little Falls. Scott and Raquel have a wonderful home that's both stately and friendly. They made my husband and myself feel 100% at home. We stayed in the Emerald Room and found it like the rest of the home spotlessly clean and with furniture and decor perfect for this treasure. Raquel is an amazing cook and we so enjoy her homemade breakfast. It was worth the trip from California just to stop by here!

My family was in Little Falls for a funeral. We were lucky to get three rooms at the Waller House. We had comfortable rooms, a wonderful breakfast and accommodations that helped us all work together as a family given the sad circumstances.
We all felt very well cared for and could not have had a better experience. It is such a refreshing change from the drab hotel rooms that look the same in every city and town. The Waller House experience added great comfort to our stay.
I left behind my four year old son at home. I was speaking to Raquel about the Robert McCloskey book "Blueberries for Sal" one of my sons favorites. Raquel gave me a jar of blueberry jam to bring to my son; she had just handpicked the blueberries and canned them that day. It was one of many acts of kindness that made our visit to the Waller House special.

The Waller House was just perfect for our recent reunion. With our relatives there, it was truly like being at home. If the superb accommodations were not enough, the food and service by our hosts would rival any high level catering or cuisine institute in all aspects, and we do have considerable experience to say it with confidence.
In Little Falls, we cannot help but think of the Waller House as our own home or the home we would like for ourselves.

What a marvelous weekend get-away! Scott and Raquel made us feel right at home the moment we pulled in the driveway, and that 'family feeling' didn't let up all weekend.
Breakfast was amazing - both the food and the company. We were pampered with dishes such as Quiche and French Toast Strata with homemade Apple Cider Syrup. The breakfast table was filled wtih many interesting guests, so there was plenty of lively conversation to start the day.
The Waller House Inn and grounds are beautiful, and lovingly cared for. We couldn't have asked for a nicer, more relaxing weekend. Thanks so much!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Waller House Inn for 2 nights and we loved it! The hosts/owners here are very friendly and accomodating. The daily breakfast was very tasty, and Raquel and Scott moved it to an hour later especially for us snoozers... The first morning, we were treated to the French Apple Strata--and it tasted better than it sounds. On day 2, we had this quiche with cranberry-pecan bread, which I could not get enough of, so Raquel gave us the leftovers, which we ate on a ski trail. The room was beautiful, comfy, and very relaxing. We highly recommend that if you are heading that way--stay at the Waller House Inn--you'll love it. We are already planning on coming back in the summer!

Jeff selected the Waller House for our 2nd anniversary celebration since we met in Little Falls 6 years ago. He knew I enjoyed victorian B&B's, and this one certainly filled the bill. The home was everything and more than we expected. Our Innkeepers were gracious, personable, and knowledgeable about the history of the home. We really enjoyed visiting with them. Breakfast was a work of art, something to get up for! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a lovely, victorian "get-away".

I just wanted to thank you and Scott for making my stay and I'm sure everyone's this past week so fun and comfortable! You went above and beyond and all your efforts were super appreciated. I was wondering... can I have the recipe for the bread Tommie Jo, Tyler and I had at breakfast??? The one with the apricots and nuts. It was deLICious!
Thanks!!!

Waller House was a delight!!!! The owners Raquel and Scott were so gracious and made our stay there perfect. My husband's two siblings and their spouses stayed there too and they all agreed. Our room was charming as well as clean as were all the rooms in the house. Our breakfast was delicious each day. They even have a gift shop with handmade items made by Raquel and other local artists and we all bought some things.

The Waller House Inn is beautiful! Scott and Raquel are wonderful hosts! My overnight stay, with several other ladies from our church, was a special time of relaxation and fellowship.
I enjoyed staying in the Diamond Room. It was beautifully appointed and very roomy.
Little Falls is a lovely town. The Waller House Inn is on a quiet street, and only a short walk to several charming shops.
I look forward to returning to the Waller House- next time as a getaway with my husband. I would love to stay in the Garnet Room!

Warm and welcoming describes the newly refurbished Waller House Inn Bed & Breakfast. That includes the classic structure, the fabulously redecorated rooms, the new owners and the food - home baked, absolutely delicious and served in style at the dining room table.
My recommendation: go, visit Little Falls and the Waller House Inn.

August 2007 was the last time we stayed at the Waller House, we had stayed there before. Scott & Raquel are very accommodating. They alway attend to the smallest detail. The breakfast is different each morning and very good! The accommodation's are nothing short of decadent. We always enjoy our stay. We will be joining them again in a week. We are looking forward to the stay as much as the vacation planned.

Raquel and her husband went above and beyond to make sure our first ever holiday family gathering was a success. Our 4 families and Grandma decided to celebrate our Christmas together by staying over night all together at a B and B. As Grandma lives in Little Falls, this was the perfect choice. Many of the others had never stayed in a B and B. We felt it was great to cater a meal and have the B and B owners help to serve it. That worked out wonderfully. I personally enjoyed not having to cook, clean or host, but simply enjoy visiting and relaxing with the family. There was plenty of room to gather, as well as each family could retreat to the privacy of their own room and bath when needed. The little children played so well together. Even though there were lots of beautiful decorations, nothing was broken; and the children behaved so well. We all enjoyed the comfortable furnishings, the meals, and singing carols around the dining room table before our evening of opening presents and sharing memories of Grandpa Wally. My husband and I would like to make this a tradition. We will definately be back and will consider it for other gatherings throughout the year as well. THANK YOU and save a date for us next December!

July and November 2007
We enjoyed our stay in the Summer so much we came back in the Fall; had a great time visiting with the innkeepers and other guests, doing picture puzzles, participating in a tea party (learning all about silver pieces), eating terrific breakfasts and appreciating a beautiful house.
