4 T butter
4 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 all purpose flour
Place oven rack in center of oven and preheat oven to 400 F.
Whisk eggs and milk together, then add flour and salt and whisk until mostly smooth.
Put butter in 10" cast iron skillet and place in oven for 2 - 3 minutes until butter is melted and bubbly. Pour batter in skillet and return to oven. Bake for 20 -25 minutes until puffed and brown. Cut in wedges and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup or fresh fruit and whipped cream.
